Street Art in the Neighborhood
The street art murals along RDA are not just aesthetic, they convey an uplifting and socially conscious message. Must see examples include Fabian William’s ghostly portrayal of Ahmaud Arbery and Neka King’s homage to John Lewis, C.T. Vivian, and Joseph E. Lowery. Also, you will also see a thank you to first responders by Joseph McKinney. But RDA also has a few artworks just for fun such as Ashley Dopson’s depiction of several enthusiastic dogs at the West End Animal Wellness Center. When you see the quirky art by Lotus Eaters Club at Westview Corner Grocery you cant help but smile. Incidentally, the Atlanta Street Art Map website offers several other self-guided walking tours.
