The Purpose of Atlanta Street Art Map

This website’s job is to get Atlantans  up off of their couches and out into the neighborhoods to see Atlanta’s fabulous street art murals and graffiti for themselves.  Use this website as a field guide not a coffee table book.

What Atlanta Street Art Map Does for You

Mural featuring a roaring tiger and Larry Loudmouf by artist Greg Mike in Midtown AtlantaThe website maps over 200 murals, presents brief bios of Atlanta artists, and archives street art that is now gone but not forgotten.  Although Atlanta has an abundance of street art, the trick is finding it.  The maps on this website will find it for you.  Including the hidden gems that you would never see just walking down the street.  If you zoom down to the building level, the maps will even show you on which side of the building the mural is located.

Walking Tours
Street Art by Patchwhiskey in Old Fourth Ward Atlanta

In most of Atlanta’s neighborhoods, the graffiti is spread out.  However, the East Atlanta, Little Five Points, and Cabbagetown/Reynoldstown neighborhoods are unique in that they have a lot of murals concentrated in a small area.  The maps for these three neighborhoods are arranged to take you on self-guided walking tours.  Just follow the map marker listings below the map in top to bottom order.  You can easily access Google Maps to navigate from one mural to the next.

This is an Interactive Experience

Street art by artist R. Land featuring a cat-owl mash-up in Poncey HighlandsThis website is (and alway will be) a work in progress.  And you can help me to build and maintain it.  If you happen to see a mural not yet mapped, or if you see mapped graffiti that no longer exists, please go to the contact page and let me know.  If you are an artist and you have a new mural going up in Atlanta, let me know and I’ll get it on the map.  I would also love to hear any suggestions that you might have about how to make the website better.  I hope you enjoy using Atlanta Street Art Map.
