Aysha Pennerman
In May of 2023, Brave Nu founded by Rachel Griner launched a class titled “Exploring Street Art in Atlanta”. The class included an artist studio with Aysha Pennerman and the class donated this bio to Atlanta Street Art Map.
Aysha Pennerman is a visual artist and muralist whose vibrant and captivating works bring beauty, hope and inspiration to public places. She conveys powerful messages through bold colors and intricate line patterns.
Aysha is deeply committed to using her art as a tool for positive change and community engagement. She frequently collaborates with local organizations and schools to create murals and public art installations that celebrate community and inspire social action.
Her art serves as a medium to address social issues and foster hope. Her murals can be found around Atlanta:

With a background in graphic design and fine art from Georgia State University, Aysha left the corporate world in 2018 to fully devote herself to making an impact with her art. In addition to her mural work, Aysha also creates fine art pieces, including paintings and mixed media works.
